With the enlargement of the EU, integrating into the European knowledge-based community has become a high priority for new member states. ICT is one of the most important fields of research and technology development. It is essential for European countries to achieve global leadership in ICT due to the revised Lisbon Agenda i2010.
EU participation has given us the incentive to embrace new opportunities and to strengthen our reputation at home and abroad. Régens was one of the first SME pioneers from the new member states to fully exploit the possibility of participating in EU programs. We utilize our unique blend of vision and know-how to transform technology for the benefit of our customers, while minimizing risk during the early stages of research and development.
We also foster relationships with international organisations that regularly endorse our high quality services, encouraging us to expand our operations Europe-wide.
Régens is active in European ICT research, participating in the EU R&D framework programme (FP7). We also take part in far-reaching domestic research programmes and in research projects abroad financed by Phare and the World Bank. Régens is also a member of European Technology Platforms (e.g.: NESSI, Artemis, eMobility), which provide extra opportunities for utilizing leading technologies and establishing international strategic partnerships.

POI Locator (Development of a location-based mobile data collection and visualization system for the road transport industry)
The project (funded by the New Széchenyi Plan co- financed by the
European Structural Fund) aims to develop a location-based mobile data
collection and visualization application for the transport industry. The
application offers location based services, runs on mobile and tablet
devices. The project main aim is to develop mobile optimized software
which supports the query of location based information (services,
suppliers, new, etc) assigned to GPS coordinates/paths. The
development’s main target is the transport industry.
Social Enterprise (Development and market launch of „social enterprise” business application)
The project (funded by the New Hungarian Development Plan co- financed by the European Structural Fund) started in January 2011 and aims to support the „social enterprise” business application’s market launch at national and international level. The project focuses on the development and market launch of a web 2.0. based business collaboration product family which supports sales, marketing, internal communication and collaboration, project management, performance management processes.

European Structural Fund)
Regens intends to move towards Future
Internet technologies, therefore we have embarked on our new RTD project
CORSENET in 2010. CORSENET is a corporate semantic platform with
artificial intelligence and semantic web features, which supports
companies in more efficiently managing their extensive volume of
business data by providing an automatic process for systematic data
collection and sorting.

- Research for the Benefit of SME Associations)
FACIT facilitates
IT-providing SMEs with operation-related models and methods. The project
addresses SMEs operating in the ICT domain. The goals are (a) to
facilitate the use of Software Engineering (SE) methods and to
systematize their application integration in business processes, (b) to
provide efficient and affordable certification of these processes
according to internationally accepted standards, and (c) to securely

WEBSENSE (research project co-financed by the Hungarian government and the Structural Funds)
The goal of Régens' applied research and technology development project is to create a flexible, easy-to-use telemonitoring structure by using embedded systems and portal technology for the advanced control of industrial environments. WebSense enables the automatic collection of reliable data and its analysis using sophisticated software technology. Implementing WebSense will enable you to optimize your internal processes in order to better-manage assets, resources, and human capacity. The applied technology is based on active RFID tags (for tracing the objects present) and smart sensors for environmental monitoring.
