Régens participated in a Brokerage Event organized by ARTEMISIA (industrial association of ARTEMIS - embedded systems European Technology Platform) on 14-15 February in Düsseldorf.

Régens was invited as a partner to the year opening ceremony combined with a gala dinner of the Hungarian largest railway transport service provider, MÁV Cargo Group, to the Museum of Applied Arts.

Régens Plc. has been invited to present a paper at the I-ESA, the 4th international conference in the topic of Interoperability for Enterprise and Software Applications.

Régens is the first Hungarian industrial member of ARTEMISIA, which the industrial organisation of ARTEMIS (Embedded Systems Technology) ETP. ARTEMISIA is focusing on market-oriented research and development inside the ARTEMIS ETP for embedded and real-time systems technologies.

Régens assigns special importance to its membership in the European Technology Platforms, cooperations whose aim is defining strategies of EU research in different domains, and generate collaborative RTD projects to realise the vision of i2010. Régens is the first Hungarian business-oriented member that takes part in these collaborations beside scientific organisations, and large enterprises.

At the 2008 PANAC general assemby, the manager of the cluster honoured Régens by presenting a plaque to the company, commemorating the fifth anniversary of its membership in the cluster. Pannon Automotive Cluster is an innovative network based cooperation of businesses and organizations with interests in the automotive industry.

The aim of the European Commission ERA (European Research Area) coordinated action is to enhance cooperation between the Commission and the national or regional decision makers, industrial actors and users.

Another new client has been added to the list of foreign customers at Régens. In addition to the already existing US clients, one more overseas company has laid its trust in Régens. DIEBOLD Hungary Ltd produces and services cash dispenser machines at its Gyál site. In the past, the company has arranged for the customs clearance of incoming basic material and products through several contractors.

Balatonalmádi - Hotel Ramada

The Hungarian Association for Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management (MLBKT) has convened its annual congress for the 15th year, this time in Balatonalmádi. Each year at this most prestigious event of logistics professionals, the actors of the Hungarian supply chain can profit from presentations of the highest niveau and interesting panel discussions.

The Hague, October 24-26

The e-Challenges conference is the most significant annual IST research event supported by the European Commission. Régens, Plc. has been an involved and active e-Challenges participant since 2005. This year too, we were present at the conference held in The Hague, which gave us the opportunity to reconnect with companies around the EU and to build new networks in the ICT arena. 

The presentation, “Advanced Front-desk Solutions for the Logistics Sector” given to an audience of Russian IT company representatives, covered an introduction of our company and of our service & product portfolio, tailored to Russian SMEs. Some of the highlights of the presentation were the reviews of our projects in collaboration with our major partners in Hungary and abroad. We currently see a lot of potential in collaborating with Russian partners, and in extending our reach further East.
