The
closing presentation of the international research project FLUID-WIN
was organized by Régens Plc. in collaboration with Hödlmayr Hungaria
Logistics Ltd. in Hungary. This project was established
in 2006 and it was co-financed by the European Comission. The FLUID-WIN
consortium was set up by 11 members from 8 countries.
The result
of the project is a business collaboration
platform integrating manufacturers, logistic service providers
and financial service providers (eg. banks, factoring houses etc.) to
communicate via one single B2B platform. The business communication within
the supply networks are focused on procurement orders, transportation
tasks, warehousing management and financial service management
which are going to be managed via electronic data exchange.
A specific
distribution network scenario adapted to Hödlmayr’s vehicle logistic services
was presented in the frame of this closing event to the
representatives of 4 major car importers in Hungary. The
managers of General Motors, Citroen Hungária, Peugeot Hungária, and BMW Group as
well as the project members delegated from Hödlmayr were present at the meeting.
The participants had a brief technical consultation with Régens experts after
the presentation.
