The final MaPEer SME projects’ two day event was held in the frame of the European SME week 2011, on the 5-6th of October 2011 in Brussels. The MaPEeR SME project is funded by the European Union under the European Commission 7th Framework Programme, and focuses on the enhancement of EU SMEs participation in European, national and regional RTDI programmes.
Reka Moksony, the Head of Business Development at Regens PLc., was invited as an expert to this event and gave a presentation about the Hungarian RTDI programmes for SMEs and explained the recent problems they have to face when participating in such projects.
The two day event started with the European SME Experts’ Panel on
Research by SMEs with 60 members from 20 European countries and
continued with a conference presenting the results of MaPEeR SME project
with almost 120 participants.
The conference contributed to a final set of 23 recommendations about
measures to enhance the suitability and relevance of European, national
and regional research and technology development programmes in order to
enhance the participation of SMEs therein.
